    BLUE STAR

Blue Star was born in the Netherlands. She is a healer – medium, storyteller, teacher of spirituality and also called a shaman.

As a child I had many dreams and knew about people’s secrets.

I always wanted to know truth and I am infinitely curious. I studied music and psychology and In the eighties I read the books of Castaneda and was intrigued by Don Juan Matus. It opened my eyes for the possibility of unknown realities. In 1991 I met a medicine man that brought my visions together in perspective that society never explained to me. I came home. I studied all kind of forms of healing and shamanism.

Throughout the years I travelled a lot and met medicine people from different tribes all over the world. It felt like I was an ambassador and connector of knowledge. I was adopted into different Native American Indian tribes and became a registered minister for Native American Indian Ceremonies.

My teacher told me to only tell from personal spiritual experiences so I could always say : I know, because I have experienced it. Being educated in a western thinking world with its patterns, it wasn’t always easy to shift perception to the greatness of who and what we actually are. But it is worth it!! That everything is dreaming, that we are creators, that we are always connected to an invisible source.

The other day I wrote on my wall, remember dear one, that you are always safe: nothing can kill your essence of light.

I hope to be a beacon of light for you.

In this episode, Amanda Parker speaks with Blue Star, a spiritual teacher, healer, and shaman, about the nature of fear and how to move through it. Blue Star explains that fear is a survival mechanism that evolved to protect humans from potential threats, but in modern times, it often arises in response to the unknown. When triggered, the brain creates imaginary scenarios that can lead to panic and stress, even when no actual danger is present. Blue Star emphasizes the importance of recognizing fear for what it is and not identifying with it.

The conversation also delves into the role of injustice in the world and how it can impact individuals. Blue Star suggests that when faced with injustice, one should acknowledge it, consider if there is anything they can do to help, and if not, send light and let it go. She stresses the importance of maintaining balance and not allowing the biological energy needed for oneself to be depleted by constantly worrying about things beyond one's control.

Blue Star discusses the power of the brain and its ability to fixate on unresolved issues, leading to endless loops of thought. She emphasizes the need to master one's inner dialogue and not allow the brain to take over. Techniques such as using sound (Tibetan bowls, gongs, drums), physical activity, and singing can help calm the brain and reduce stress hormones. Blue Star also touches on the concept of being receivers and senders of energy, and the importance of discerning whether emotions are one's own or picked up from others or the environment.

Throughout the conversation, Blue Star shares her personal journey and the experiences that led her to become a spiritual teacher and healer. She emphasizes the importance of finding what resonates with oneself, letting go of judgments, and embracing the beauty and multidimensionality of the world. Blue Star encourages listeners to take ownership of their journey, uplift themselves, and find their own light.
